My first day learning code - or rather seeing if I find it interesting! So earlier this year I started teacher training because my entire student career had been aimed towards becoming an English teacher. I loved (still love) Shakespeare, adored modern and traditional literature and have a keen interest in the English language (real and implied meanings as well as how it has been and is created etc etc...). I wanted to pass this on to the younger generation. What I got as a trainee teacher was not what i expected. In fact I hated (almost) every single moment of it. So now I have a dilemma - what do I do when I have spent every single moment of my academic career aiming at one job for that job to fall flat on its face once I actually experience that job? What do I want to do now? I am getting to the code part... I swear! I am a Sales Administrator in an Estate Agents now. Despite the fact that I do like some elements of my job I am bored (and underpaid). I h
